ଗଞ୍ଜେଇ ମୁକ୍ତ ହେବ ଓଡ଼ିଶା
In response to rising illegal ganja cultivation, Minister Pruthviraj Harichandan announced that Odisha will be made completely free of ganja. He stated that various tribal communities have been lured into illicit ganja farming and illicit trafficking in many areas. This year, the maximum quantity of ganja crops was destroyed. In the coming days, the government will closely monitor tribal farmers who have been misled into ganja cultivation under false promises. Discussions are underway with the police department to identify alternative livelihoods for these communities. The process to wean them off ganja farming and rid the entire state of ganja is now underway, the Minister said.
ଗଞ୍ଜେଇ ମୁକ୍ତ ହେବ ଓଡ଼ିଶା। ଏନେଇ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ଦେଇ ଅବକାରୀ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପୃଥ୍ବୀରାଜ ହରିଚନ୍ଦନ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ,ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଜନଜାତିର ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଲୋଭିତ କରାଇ ଅନେକ ସ୍ଥାନରେ କରାଯାଉଛି ଚୋରା ଗଞ୍ଜେଇ ବ୍ୟବସାୟ। ଏ ବର୍ଷ ନଷ୍ଟ କରାଯାଇଛି ସର୍ବାଧିକ ଗଞ୍ଜେଇ ଚାଷ। ଆଗାମୀ ଦିନ ଗୁଡିକରେ ଜନଜାତିର ଗରିବ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ମିଛ କହି ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଗଞ୍ଜେଇ ଚାଷ କରୁଛନ୍ତି ତାଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ନଜର ରଖିଛନ୍ତି ସରକାର। ଜନଜାତିଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏହାର ବିକଳ୍ପ ଜୀବିକା କ’ଣ ହୋଇପାରିବ ସେ ନେଇ ପୋଲିସ ବିଭାଗ ସହ କରାଯାଉଛି ଆଲୋଚନା। ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗଞ୍ଜେଇ ଚାଷରୁ ନିବୃତ୍ତ କରାଇବା ଓ ରାଜ୍ୟକୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଗଞ୍ଜେଇ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିବାକୁ ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଛି ବୋଲି କହିଛନ୍ତି ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ।
