ନାବାଳିକାକୁ ବିବାହ ଓ ନିର୍ଯାତନା ମାମଲା ; ପୁଲିସ ଏସ୍ଆଇ ଅମିତ ପାଢ଼ୀ ଗିରଫ
In connection with a case of child marriage and physical & mental torture of a minor girl, fugitive accused Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Amit Padhi has been arrested from outside the state by Jagatsinghpur Police. The accused SI had been absconding for four months. Amit came into contact with the minor through Facebook. Later, he trapped the girl, who was studying in Class 10, into a love affair and secretly married her without her family’s knowledge. A few months after the marriage, the minor bride was repeatedly subjected to physical and mental harassment by her husband (Amit), mother-in-law, and father-in-law. When she was beaten and thrown out of the house, the victim’s mother lodged a complaint at Jagatsinghpur Sadar Police Station. Following the complaint, Amit Padhi was suspended by Puri Police.
ନାବାଳିକାଙ୍କୁ ବିବାହ କରିବା ସହ ଶାରୀରିକ ଓ ମାନସିକ ନିର୍ଯାତନା ଦେବା ଘଟଣାରେ ଫେରାର ଅଭିଯୁକ୍ତ ପୋଲିସ ଏସଆଇ ଅମିତ ପାଢ଼ୀଙ୍କୁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ବାହାରୁ ଗିରଫ କରିଛି ଜଗତସିଂହପୁର ପୋଲିସ । ଚାରି ମାସ ହେଲା ଫେରାର ଥିଲେ ଅଭିଯୁକ୍ତ ଏସଆଇ । ଜଗତସିଂହପୁର ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ଜଣେ ନାବାଳିକାଙ୍କ ସହ ଫେସବୁକରେ ହୋଇଥିଲା ଅମିତଙ୍କ ପରିଚୟ । ପରେ ଦଶମ ଶ୍ରେଣୀରେ ପଢୁଥିବା ନାବାଳିକାକୁ ପ୍ରେମ ଜାଲରେ ଫସାଇ ଝିଅ ଘର ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଅଗୋଚରରେ କରିଥିଲେ ବାଲ୍ୟ ବିବାହ। ବିବାହର କିଛି ମାସ ପରେ ନାବାଳିକା ବୋହୂକୁ ବାରମ୍ବାର ଶାରୀରିକ ଓ ମାନସିକ ନିର୍ଯାତନା ଦେଇଥଲେ ସ୍ୱାମୀ, ଶାଶୁ ଓ ଶଶୁର।ମାଡ଼ ମାରି ଘରୁ ତଡ଼ି ଦେଇଥିବା ନେଇ ପିଡ଼ିତାଙ୍କ ମା’ ଜଗତସିଂହପୁର ସଦର ଥାନାରେ ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରିବା ଅମିତ ପାଢ଼ୀଙ୍କୁ ନିଲମ୍ବିତ କରିଥିଲା ପୁରୀ ପୁଲିସ ।
