ଆସାମରେ ଜଳ ପ୍ରଳୟ
Due to the early arrival of the monsoon, continuous rainfall has been lashing the northeastern states of India for the past four days. As a result, natural calamities have struck states like Assam, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, and Manipur. Particularly in Assam, the situation has worsened with severe flooding. In 22 districts and 1,254 villages of Assam, over 5.5 lakh people have been affected by the floods. Rescue operations are underway to evacuate people stranded in waterlogged areas to safer places. NDRF, SDRF, along with the Air Force and Army, have been deployed for relief and rescue operations. Meanwhile, due to heavy rains and landslides, reports confirm that 11 people have lost their lives in Assam.
ସମୟ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ମୌସୁମୀର ଆଗମନ ଯୋଗୁଁ ଭାରତର ଉତ୍ତର-ପୂର୍ବ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଗତ ୪ ଦିନ ଧରି ଜାରି ରହିଛି ଲଗାଣ ବର୍ଷା । ଫଳରେ ଆସାମ, ସିକ୍କିମ୍, ଅରୁଣାଚଳ ପ୍ରଦେଶ, ତ୍ରିପୁରା ଓ ମଣିପୁର ଆଦି ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଲାଗି ରହିଛି ପ୍ରାକୃତିକ ଦୁର୍ବିପାକ । ବିଶେଷ କରି ଆସାମରେ ଭୟଙ୍କର ଉପୁଜିଛି ଜଳ ପ୍ରଳୟ ସ୍ଥିତି । ୨୨ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ୧୨୫୪ ଗାଁରେ ସାଢ଼େ ୫ ଲକ୍ଷ ଲୋକ ବନ୍ୟାରେ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି ପ୍ରଭାବିତ । ଜଳବନ୍ଦୀରେ ଥିବା ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ କରାଯାଉଛି ଉଦ୍ଧାର । ଉଦ୍ଧାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ନିୟୋଜିତ ଅଛନ୍ତି ଏନ୍ଡିଆର୍ଏଫ୍, ଏସ୍ଡିଆର୍ଏଫ୍ ସହ ବାୟୁସେନା ଓ ସ୍ଥଳସେନା । ବର୍ଷା ସହ ଭୂସ୍ଖଳନ ପାଇଁ ଆସାମରେ ୧୧ ଜଣଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ହୋଇଥିବା ମିଳିଛି ସୂଚନା ।
