କମିଲା ଜିଏସ୍ଟି,ଓଡ଼ିଶାକୁ ମିଳିବ ବଡ଼ ଲାଭ
In the 56th meeting of the GST Council, major changes have been made in the GST slabs. The 12% and 28% slabs have been removed and replaced with 5% and 18%. As a result, essential commodities will become cheaper. On the other hand, luxury goods will now attract 40% GST. After the meeting, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman stated that this decision has been taken keeping in mind the interests of the common people of the country. The revised GST will come into effect from September 22. Meanwhile, Odisha is set to benefit significantly from the change in GST slabs. Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, addressing a press conference in New Delhi, informed that the GST on kendu leaves has been reduced from 18% to 5%, which will greatly benefit kendu leaf pluckers. Similarly, with reduced GST in the agricultural sector, Odisha’s farmers will also benefit. In addition, coal production in Odisha will gain more advantages due to the reduction in cess.
ଜିଏସଟି କାଉନସିଲର ୫୬ତମ ବୈଠକରେ ଜିଏସଟି ସ୍ଲାବରେ କରାଯାଇଛି ବଡ଼ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ । ଜିଏସଟିରେ ଥିବା ୧୨ ଓ ୨୮ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ସ୍ଲାବକୁ ହଟାଇ ଏହା ବଦଳରେ ୫ ଓ ୧୮ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ସ୍ଲାବ ହେବ ଲାଗୁ । ଏହାଫଳରେ ଶସ୍ତା ହେବ ଅତ୍ୟାବଶ୍ୟକ ସାମଗ୍ରୀ । ସେହିଭଳି ବିଳାସପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ସାମଗ୍ରୀ ଉପରେ ଲାଗିବ ୪୦ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ଜିଏସଟି । ବୈଠକ ପରେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଅର୍ଥମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନିର୍ମଳା ସୀତାରମଣ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ, ଦେଶରେ ସାଧାରଣ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ହିତକୁ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ରଖି ନିଆଯାଇଛି ଏଭଳି ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି। ସେପ୍ଟେମ୍ବର ୨୨ ତାରିଖରୁ ଲାଗୁ ହେବ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧାରିତ ଜିଏସଟି। ଅନ୍ୟପଟେ ଜିଏସ୍ଟି ସ୍ଲାବରେ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ପରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶାକୁ ମିଳିବ ବଡ଼ ଲାଭ । ନୂଆଦିଲ୍ଲୀରେ ସାମ୍ବାଦିକ ସମ୍ମିଳନୀ କରି ଏହି ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମୋହନ ମାଝୀ । ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ , କେନ୍ଦୁପତ୍ର ଉପରେ ୧୮ରୁ ୫ ପ୍ରତିଶତ ହ୍ରାସ ପାଇଛି ଜିଏସ୍ଟି । ଫଳରେ ଅଧିକ ଲାଭବାନ୍ ହେବେ କେନ୍ଦୁପତ୍ର ତୋଳାଳି । ଏହା ସହ କୃଷି କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଜିଏସ୍ଟି ହ୍ରାସ ପାଇଥିବାରୁ ଅଧିକ ଲାଭାନ୍ବିତ ହେବେ ଓଡିଶାର କୃଷକ । ଏହା ସହ କୋଇଲା ଉତ୍ପାଦନରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଓଡ଼ିଶାକୁ ମିଳିବ ଅଧିକ ଲାଭ । ସେସ୍ କମିବା ଯୋଗୁ ଅଧିକ ଫାଇଦାରେ ରହିବ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ।
