India registered a thrilling victory in the fifth and final Test, defeating England by 6 runs in a close contest. With this win, India leveled the Tendulkar-Anderson Trophy series 2-2. India lost the toss and had to bat first but managed only 240 runs in their first innings, getting all out quickly. Except for Karun Nair, no Indian batsman could score a half-century. England came in to bat and got a slight lead, but India's bowling attack bounced back, bowling them out for 247 runs.
