During his visit to Odisha, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated the "Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan" at Sakhigopal in Puri district. At the event, the Agriculture Minister praised the state government and thanked the Modi government for providing a bonus on the MSP (Minimum Support Price) of paddy. He stated, "Mohan Majhi’s government has done wonders—buying paddy worth ₹2,300 at ₹3,100." He further mentioned that Koraput rice will reach the global market.
