Meanwhile, the country’s capital Delhi has become suffocating due to severe air pollution combined with dense fog. Air quality remains extremely poor. Today, Delhi’s overall Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 414. Similarly, AQI levels were recorded at 466 in Anand Vihar, 451 in Mundka, 444 in Ashok Vihar, and 436 in the ITO area. Dense fog along with AQI levels above 400 were recorded in areas such as India Gate, Kartavya Path, and the Rashtrapati Bhavan. To reduce pollution, the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) Stage 4 has been implemented, and water sprinkling is being carried out at various locations. Due to fog and adverse weather conditions, flight and train services have also been disrupted.
ଉତ୍କଟ ବାୟୁ ପ୍ରଦୂଷଣ ସାଙ୍ଗକୁ ଘନ କୁହୁଡ଼ି ଯୋଗୁଁ ଅଣନିଶ୍ୱାସୀ ହୋଇଗଲାଣି ଦେଶର ରାଜଧାନୀ ଦିଲ୍ଲୀ।ଅତି ଖରାପ ରହିଛି ବାୟୁ ଗୁଣବତ୍ତା । ଆଜି ଦିଲ୍ଲୀରେ ସାମଗ୍ରିକ ବାୟୁ ଗୁଣବତ୍ତା ସୂଚକାଙ୍କ -ଥିଲା ୪୧୪ । ସେହିପରି ଆନନ୍ଦ ବିହାରରେ ୪୬୬, ମୁନ୍ଦକାରେ ୪୫୧, ଅଶୋକ ବିହାରରେ ୪୪୪ ଏବଂ ଆଇଟିଓ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ୪୩୬ ଥିଲା ବାୟୁମାନ ସୂଚକାଙ୍କ । ଇଣ୍ଡିଆ ଗେଟ୍, କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟ ପଥ ଓ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତି ଭବନ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଘନ କୁହୁଡ଼ି ସାଙ୍ଗକୁ ୪ ଶହ ଉପରେ ବାୟୁମାନ ସୂଚକାଙ୍କ ହୋଇଛି ରେକର୍ଡ । ପ୍ରଦୂଷଣ ହ୍ରାସ ପାଇଁ ଗ୍ରେଡେଡ୍ ରେସପନ୍ସ ଆକ୍ସନ ପ୍ଲାନ- ଗ୍ରାପ୍- ୪ ଲାଗୁ କରାଯିବା ସହିତ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସ୍ଥାନରେ କରାଯାଉଛି ପାଣି ସିଞ୍ଚନ । କୁହୁଡ଼ି ଓ ଖରାପ ପାଗ ଯୋଗୁ ବିମାନ ଓ ରେଳ ଚଳାଚଳ ମଧ୍ୟ ହୋଇଛି ବାଧାପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ।
