ବଦଳିବ ୭ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ଇଂରାଜୀ ନାଁ
The state government will revise the English names of seven districts. In total, the English names of 24 places in 11 districts will be corrected. In this regard, an official notification has been issued by the Revenue Department. From now on, the English spellings will follow the Odia names. Accordingly, Khordha district will be spelled as “Khoradha” in English as per its Odia pronunciation. Similarly, Deogarh district, which is currently written as “Deogarh” in English for the Odia name “Debagarh,” will be corrected to “Debagarh.” In the same way, in many places the Odia letter “ଡ଼” is written as “R” in English. For example, Kendrapada is written as Kendrapara, Mahakalapada as Mahakalapara, and Nayagarh as Nayagar. These spellings will also be corrected. All these English spellings will be revised according to proper Odia pronunciation. The department has invited the general public to submit any objections or suggestions regarding the proposed changes in writing within 15 days.
ରାଜ୍ୟର ୭ଟି ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ଇଂରାଜୀ ନାଁ ସଂଶୋଧନ କରିବେ ସରକାର । ମୋଟ୍ ୧୧ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ୨୪ଟି ସ୍ଥାନର ଇଂରାଜୀ ନାମ ହେବ ସଂଶୋଧନ । ଏନେଇ ରାଜସ୍ବ ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଇଛି ବିଧିବଦ୍ଧ ବିଜ୍ଞପ୍ତି । ଏଣିକି ଓଡ଼ିଆ ନାମ ଅନୁସାରେ ରହିବ ଇଂରାଜୀ ବନାନ।ଖୋର୍ଦ୍ଧା ଜିଲ୍ଲାକୁ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ନାମ ଅନୁସାରେ ଲେଖାଯିବ ଖୋରଧା ।ସେହିପରି ଓଡ଼ିଆରେ ଦେବଗଡ଼ ଜିଲ୍ଲାକୁ ଇଂରାଜୀରେ ଦେଓଗଡ଼ ବୋଲି ଲେଖାଯାଉଛି, ତାକୁ ସଂଶୋଧନ କରି ଇଂରାଜୀରେ ଲେଖାଯିବ ଦେବଗଡ ।ସେହିପରି ଅନେକ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଡ଼ ପାଇଁ ଇଂରାଜୀରେ ଲେଖାଯାଏ ଆର । ଯେମିତି କେନ୍ଦ୍ରାପଡାକୁ ଇଂରାଜୀରେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରାପରା, ମହାକାଳପଡା କୁ ମହାକାଳପରା, ନୟାଗଡକୁ ନୟାଗର,ଏହିସବୁ ଇଂରାଜୀ ବନାନ ଅନୁସାରେ କରାଯିବ ସଂଶୋଧନ । ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବିତ ସଂଶୋଧନ ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ସାଧାରଣ ଲୋକଙ୍କର କୌଣସି ଆପତ୍ତି କିମ୍ବା ପରାମର୍ଶ ଥିଲେ ୧୫ ଦିନ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଲିଖିତ ଭାବେ ଦାଖଲ କରିବାକୁ ଆହ୍ୱାନ ଦେଇଛି ବିଭାଗ।
