ଉତ୍ତର ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ବଡ଼ ବନ୍ୟା ଆଶଙ୍କା

Due to heavy rainfall in northern Odisha and Jharkhand in recent days, water levels have risen in the Subarnarekha, Budhabalanga, and Jalaka rivers. These three rivers are currently in flood condition. No danger has been reported in other rivers. The Water Resources Department is on full alert for the Baitarani River. In Subarnarekha, the water level is flowing 1.16 meters above the danger mark. According to weather department forecasts, heavy rain alerts have been issued for Mayurbhanj and Jharkhand over the next two days. If it rains there, river water levels in northern Odisha are expected to rise. The water level in Subarnarekha depends on how much water is released from Jharkhand. In Budhabalanga, the danger level is 8.13 meters—no major flood is expected unless it rains further. Jalaka's danger mark is 6.5 meters.
ଉତ୍ତର ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ବଡ଼ ବନ୍ୟା ଆଶଙ୍କା । ଆସନ୍ତା ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟା ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ । ତା ପରେ ବର୍ଷା ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରିବ ବନ୍ୟାର ସ୍ଥିତି । ଉତ୍ତର ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଓ ଝାଡ଼ଖଣ୍ଡରେ ବିଗତ ଦିନରେ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ଯୋଗୁଁ ସୁବର୍ଣରେଖା, ବୁଢାବଳଙ୍ଗ ଓ ଜଳକାରେ ବଢିଛି ଜଳସ୍ତର । ଏହି ତିନି ନଦୀରେ ଅଛି ବନ୍ୟା ସ୍ଥିତି । ବାକି କୌଣସି ନଦୀରେ ନାହିଁ ବିପଦ । ବୈତରଣୀ ପାଇଁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ସଜାଗ ଅଛି ଜଳ ସମ୍ପଦ ବିଭାଗ । ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣରେଖାରେ ବିପଦ ସଂକେତ ଠାରୁ ୧.୧୬ ମିଟର ଅଧିକ ଜଳ ହେଉଛି ପ୍ରଭାହିତ । ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଭାଗର ଆକଳନ ଅନୁସାରେ ମୟୁରଭଞ୍ଜ ଓ ଝାଡ଼ଖଣ୍ଡରେ ଦୁଇ ଦିନ ପାଇଁ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି ନାଲି ସତର୍କତା। ସେଠି ବର୍ଷା ହେଲେ ଉତ୍ତର ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ନଦୀ ଗୁଡିକରେ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇବ ଜଳସ୍ତର । ଝାଡ଼ଖଣ୍ଡ କେତେ ଜଳ ଛାଡିବ, ତା ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରିବ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣରେଖାର ଜଳସ୍ତର। ବୁଢ଼ାବଳଙ୍ଗରେ ଅଛି ବିପଦ ସଂକେତ ୮.୧୩ ମିଟର । ସେଠି ବର୍ଷା ନ ହେଲେ ସେଭଳି ବଡ଼ ବନ୍ୟାର ନାହିଁ ଆଶଙ୍କା । ଜଳକାରେ ଅଛି ୬.୫ ମିଟର ବିପଦ ସଂକେତ ।
