The incident related to the suspension of rituals and keeping Lord Lingaraj fasting during Makar Sankranti has reached the police station. Amarendra Garabadu has filed a written complaint against Temple Executive Officer Rudra Narayan Mahanti. Due to a dispute between the Brahmin Nijog and Badu Nijog over the Kheera Auta ritual, Lord Lingaraj remained fasting and temple rituals were halted. However, the rituals of Lord Lingaraj have returned to normal since yesterday.
