ସୁଦାନରୁ ଫେରିଲେ ଆଦର୍ଶ

An Odia youth, Adarsh Behera from Jagatsinghpur district, has returned safely from Sudan. He was welcomed at Bhubaneswar Airport. Sharing his experience, Adarsh said that he will remain forever grateful to the Central Government and the Odisha Government for the steps taken to bring him back safely from Sudan. He expressed his heartfelt thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. Adarsh further revealed that he was abducted in El Fasher city of North Darfur state in Sudan by 15 to 20 members of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). For the first four days, he was kept in the jungle, after which he was imprisoned for about one and a half months. He said he did not know whether he would survive. There were days when he got food, and on other days he had to stay hungry. He was also subjected to physical assault by the RSF. However, after they came to know that he was an Indian, their behavior changed. Some kind-hearted individuals among them extended significant help to him.
