Meanwhile, a cold wave will continue across the state. The Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there will be no major change in weather conditions for the next seven days. There is a possibility that the intensity of cold will increase in the state from December 25. Over the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature in some places of northern coastal Odisha districts has dropped by around 2 degrees Celsius compared to normal.
