୨୦୨୬ରେ ଡେଲିଭରି ବୟେଜ ଓ କ୍ୟାବ୍ ଡ୍ରାଇଭରଙ୍କୁ ସୁବିଧା ଦେବେ ସରକାର
Big news has emerged for lakhs of workers associated with India’s rapidly growing gig economy. Delivery partners and drivers working with food delivery platforms like Swiggy, Zomato, Blinkit, as well as cab aggregators, will now receive facilities and benefits similar to those of government employees. The Central Government has issued draft rules for gig workers under the Social Security Code. The main objective of this initiative is to bring these workers under the ambit of pension, insurance, and healthcare benefits.
ଭାରତରେ ଦ୍ରୁତ ବିକଶିତ ହେଉଥିବା ଗିଗ୍ ଇକୋନମୀ ସମ୍ପର୍କିତ ଲକ୍ଷଲକ୍ଷ ୱାର୍କର୍ସଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆସିଛି ବଡ଼ ଖବର। ସ୍ୱିଗି, ଜମାଟୋ, ବ୍ଲିଙ୍କିଟ ଭଳି ଫୁଡ ଡେଲିଭରି ପ୍ଲାଟଫର୍ମ ଓ କ୍ୟାବ୍ ଏଗ୍ରିଗେଟର୍ସ ସମ୍ପର୍କିତ ଡେଲିଭରି ବୟ ଓ ଡ୍ରାଇଭରଙ୍କୁ ଏବେ ସରକାରୀ କର୍ମଚାରୀଙ୍କ ଭଳି ମିଳିବ ସୁବିଧା ଓ ସୁଯୋଗ । ସୋସିଆଲ ସିକ୍ୟୁରିଟି କୋଡ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ଗିଗ୍ ୱାର୍କର୍ସଙ୍କ ଲାଗି ଡ୍ରାଫ୍ଟ ନିୟମ ଜାରି କରିଛନ୍ତି କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାର । ଏହି ୱାର୍କରଙ୍କୁ ପେନସନ, ବୀମା ଓ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସେବା ପରିସରଭୁକ୍ତ କରିବା ହେଉଛି ଏହାର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ।
