Now, meat and alcohol will no longer be sold on Puri’s Grand Road (Bada Danda). No liquor shops or bars will be allowed within a 2-kilometer radius of the Shree Jagannath Temple. Puri is set to be declared a pilgrimage city. This information was shared by Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan. Additionally, all houses along the Grand Road will follow a uniform architectural pattern. The appearance of houses facing the Grand Road will be transformed. The Law Minister stated that initial work for this transformation has already begun.
