ସ୍ମାର୍ଟ ମିଟର ଲଗାଇବେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର
The state government will install smart meters. Following a cabinet decision, the Energy Department has issued a notification in this regard. The government has decided to provide a one-time grant of ₹735 crore for this purpose. Smart meters will be installed by replacing 8.75 lakh existing meters with a load capacity of up to 2 kilowatts, at an estimated cost of ₹340 crore. An additional ₹88 crore will be spent on installing smart meters for new electricity connections. The smart meters will remain under the control of the Odisha Government’s Energy Department and will be operated and maintained by the DISCOMs, as stated in the notification.
ସ୍ମାର୍ଟ ମିଟର ଲଗାଇବେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର । କ୍ୟାବିନେଟ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ପରେ ଶକ୍ତି ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଏନେଇ ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଇଛି ବିଜ୍ଞପ୍ତି । ତେବେ ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ୭୩୫ କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କାର ଏକକାଳୀନ ଅନୁଦାନ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିବାକୁ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ନେଇଛନ୍ତି ସରକାର । ୨ କିଲୋ ଓ୍ବାଟ ଯାଏ ଥିବା ୮.୭୫ ଲକ୍ଷ ମିଟରକୁ ବଦଳାଇ ଲଗାଯିବ ସ୍ମାର୍ଟ ମିଟର । ଏହି ବାବଦକୁ ୩୪୦ କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କା ହେବ ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ । ନୂଆ ସଂଯୋଗରେ ସ୍ମାର୍ଟ ମିଟର ଲଗାଇବାକୁ ୮୮ କୋଟି ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ ହେବ। ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଶକ୍ତି ବିଭାଗ ଅଧୀନରେ ରହିବ ସ୍ମାର୍ଟ ମିଟର। ଏହା DISCOM ଦ୍ୱାରା ପରିଚାଳିତ ଏବଂ ରକ୍ଷଣାବେକ୍ଷଣ କରାଯିବ ବୋଲି ବିଜ୍ଞପ୍ତିରେ ରହିଛି ଉଲ୍ଲେଖ ।
